Since 1992, Natura 2000 is the name given by the European Union for the European network of ecological sites. The construction of this network is based on European directives. The target of Natura 2000 is to preserve biodiversity as well as to restore the value of the natural heritage of our territories.

For the Natura 2000 Expo (held in Luxembourg from 12th to 20th October 2013), the foundation “Hëllef fir d’Natur” asked BCE (Broadcasting Center Europe) to produce video clips which illustrate Luxembourg’s protected zones.

BCE will also install digital signage screens in the main corridor of the Expo, playing mainly the video clips. Five screens will concentrate on different biodiversity elements, give information on Natura 2000 zones and invite the visitors to enter the Expo contest.
